Strengthening Our Families with Positive Parent-Child Relationships
As the saying goes, “family is where life begins and love never ends”. The meaning of this only really hit home when I became a mother.
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a family is defined as a group of people who are related to each other, such as a mother, a father, and their children.
Yet, each family is unique, and each individual is unique.
To come together as a family, unconditional love is the binding power. To accept and to appreciate one another, without judgement, without expectations – all these are the secret sauces for love in the family.
We held our second Rainbow Connection Family Retreat on May 27. It was another day filled with laughter, fun and hugs for parents and their kids! Below is a recap of some of the treasure trove of memories shared by our families.
Check out the video to hear from our participants, mummy Felvira and daughter Leshay, on what they have to say about their day together!
Watch out for our next family retreat! You can also stay connected about parenting matters on our Rainbow Connections Family blog.
