Khoo Yin embarked on her spiritual journey in December 2015, attending “Awaken ~ the Divine You” program under Master Umesh. Since then, she has completed her Master Levels through to Hawaii. She is currently a facilitator at The Golden Space, focusing on developing family-oriented programs to strengthen parent-child relationships and bonding.
As a full-time working mother of two daughters, Khoo Yin believes communications is the essence to building strong relationships, in all aspects of life, be it at work or at home. For families today faced with fresh challenges in today’s modern society, she passionately and strongly advocates parents to strengthen family bonds through appreciation and acceptance.
Born and raised in a typical middle-income family of four in Singapore, Khoo Yin led a very blessed life. As a family of free-thinkers, she was brought up to be open and universal. This helped shaped her beliefs in embracing the differences and uniqueness of the world.
Khoo Yin is also an active contributor to the community. During the course of her career, she has provided pro-bono work to various non-profit organizations, to help support their social causes. Earlier in her student years, she was actively involved in volunteer work and community services, ranging from promoting volunteerism to raising funds for charities.
As a communications professional, Khoo Yin has more than 15 years of experience based in Singapore. Throughout her career, she has worked with companies of all sizes across sectors, including technology, telecommunications, consumer, healthcare and financial services, to elevate their communication activities. She has been involved in creating and leading integrated communication campaigns for a variety of brands to drive business outcomes and create positive impact. She firmly believes in human to human connections as critical to building reputation for brands.
Her experience in interacting and collaborating with a diverse set of colleagues and clients from various backgrounds have helped sharpened her listening skills, enhanced her sense of empathy, which constantly provide learning opportunities for her to continuously broaden her thinking. She enjoys mentoring and coaching colleagues and team-mates, and currently volunteers as a career mentor at a local university.
