Curious about the increasingly popular mindfulness programs that are often described as the activity that best combat our daily stress by calming our mind and relaxing our body?

At The Golden Space, we offer mindfulness to any interested individual, regardless of race, religion or limited knowledge on the topic. The session covers simple background, breathing technique, but more importantly the awareness of our body reactions to our consciousness during mindfulness activities. Fun, joy and laughter filled the session with simple games played to heighten such awareness, and at the same time provide practical and hands-on experience to make mindfulness easy to understand and grasp.

Join us for a relaxing evening by resting your logical mind – no one is in a better position to tell you about mindfulness, but your very own body.

Mindfulness for Parents

We all want to be the best parents for our kids. We read books, use strategies and heed the best advice. Whilst we are all different, we all want to be the best parents we can be.

Mindfulness for parents teaches how to use the skills of mindfulness to:

  • Recharge your energy
  • Become more patient and calm
  • Manage conflicts more easily
  • Increase the ability to support and nurture

Being mindful is a skill that enhances all aspects of life. During this session, you will experience the importance of breath to calm your emotions and body; how being still and peaceful can actually increase your energy and how being mindful gives you more patience to manage with the dramas of family life. And the best thing of all, it’s easy once you know how!
Yes, you and your kids deserve the best, the best you. So join us Thursday and discover how mindfulness can help you be the parent you truly want to be.

Mindfulness for Kids

Mindfulness is a valuable tool for children to develop strong mental resilience and emotional awareness. Scientific research shows that regular mindfulness practice can help children by relieving stress, anxiety, and improve their academic performance and social relationships. It also builds their capacity to experience positive emotions.

The art of Mindfulness is about being in the present, relaxed and focus in the moment. It cultivates awareness of their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Each mindfulness session is created with different activities such as storytelling, arts or games to encourage them to express themselves authentically, whilst learning this vital skill.

Everyday Mindfulness (Basic)

How would you like to feel more peace & calm? Do you want to be able to think more clearly and be more focused in your work? How about sleeping better and be happier in your life? You can have these and more by learning and practicing Mindfulness everyday.

When you deliberately pay attention to what’s happening to you at every moment without judgement, you are practicing Mindfulness. When you pay attention, you become aware – Mindful – of your body sensations, thoughts, emotions, impulses, urges and the world around you. You don’t judge any of these things that you are experiencing as good or bad; you simply observe them and let go of them by focusing on something, such as your breath. This is the practice of Mindfulness.

Everyone has heard of the benefits of meditation – reduce stress, improve health, feel more relaxed and calm, able to focus better etc. But many people feel that it is difficult to meditate – the mind is too busy thinking. In this 4-week program, learn what is meditation and how to meditate properly from our highly experienced facilitators. Start a regular meditation practice and see how your health and life improves. You will be supported with guided meditations which you can download for your daily practice.
